Martin Luther King Jr Monument to Be Unveiled in DC This Summer
On August 28, a monument dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr, will be unveiled in the National Mall in Washington, DC, where the slain civil rights leader gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech in 1963. He will stand shoulder to shoulder with former presidents Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson. Twenty-five years in the making, Dr King's monument will be the first memorial on the National Mall
