Danielle Staub Fires Back At Teresa Giudice

Last month, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice shockingly revealed that she "misses Danielle Staub." Seriously!?

The only person more shocked than us was Staub, who left the Bravo reality show after two seasons. She sat down with PopEater to set the record straight, adding that "the feeling isn't mutual."

"I am so happy with my life after leaving ['Housewives']. It wasn't funny to me. It was very painful," she tells PopEater.

Staub, who became known for her controversial on-screen catfights, has moved on with at least two reality shows in the works, including Social, her new Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous-like program.

"I'm really happy in my life," she says. "I have so much that I've just begun to do."

Caroline & Andy Cohen Talk RHONJ Season 3

The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast must really dislike their former co-star Danielle Staub. When it was announced in September that Danielle would not be returning to the franchise for its third season, there were suggestions that other stars would not come back if Danielle did. Now, both N.J. housewife Caroline Manzo and Housewives honcho Andy Cohen say that it’s a good thing that she’s gone.

“Without Danielle, it’ll be great!’ Andy tells Hollywood Life exclusively.

“People worry that the show won’t be what it was. I’m glad it’s not what it was,” Caroline agrees. “Now, it’s drama that’s memorable.”

Expect some new people to be joining the cast this season. “There’s a couple of new faces,” Caroline states. “It’s a very different dynamic this year. It’s a lot of fun.”

“Jersey is filming right now,” Andy said at the Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2011 New York Fashion Week show. “It’s going really well.”

“It’s the best it ever was,” Caroline finalizes.

Danielle Staub Defends Camille Grammer

Despite being portrayed as the villain (or victim, depending on which side you’re on) on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, there will be no such drama on Danielle Staub’s new show, Social, which premiered February 9 on Wealth TV. Danielle opened up to In Touch about her new show and wished Camille Grammer “luck and happiness.”

“[The show features] celebs, stars, rock stars, old stars, royalty, ex-CEOs, presidents of networks… it’s got everything,” Danielle said at the launch party at Greenhouse in New York. “It not only shows what people have, but it allows the audience to really get to know these people.”

The ex-Housewife is also excited about branching out from her former castmates, as her new show will allow people to see “another layer of Danielle.”

“The drama is good, but it's nothing like the drama we saw on my season,” she said.

Danielle was also proud to say she is on “Team Camille,” and adds that she, too, was “singled out.”

“They single out the strong because we can stand alone… same goes for me,” she said. “I wish her luck and happiness.”
