Get to Know Your Cut Off! season 2 "Shakyra"

The New York Daily News recently spoke with Shakyra from Season 2 of Your Cut Off! Premiering this monday. Her some interesting details.

"I set myself up," admits LaShae, 25. "I saw a casting for the 'Next "It" Girl' and was like, Oh, my God, that is so me! I love to party. I have great friends. I'm a socialite. I love shopping. My boyfriend's got connections. It just seemed like a really good time."

"I didn't find out till I got there, last-minute," LaShae says. "We all looked fabulous and were so ready and then it was like, 'Surprise! You're cut off.' We were all speechless.

"The girls had to work with Habitat for Humanity and learn to build a home," says Baron. "They got paychecks and had lessons in the great outdoors and even shopping on a budget — any experience that can challenge them to think beyond their labels and their security blankets." .

In fact, she has moved out of the Brooklyn apartment she shared with her then-boyfriend after the show stopped filming and into her own place in Queens."He was my so-called benefactor who popped up on the screen like, ‘You're Cut Off,' " she says. "I was like, ‘What the heck?' He spends money on me, but I work and pay my own bills."
